Videogames and Esports Foundation

The Videogames and Esports Foundation, formerly known as the Varsity Esports Foundation, is a non-profit organization that was founded in December 2018 by a group of esports professionals from the Kansas City area. The foundation aims to bring unity to the esports industry and to support the next generation of gamers, or Generation E. The foundation offers financial assistance to schools that want to start or maintain esports clubs and provides a pipeline for students to reach their potential through esports. The foundation also conducts research on the benefits and challenges of esports and collaborates with other organizations such as the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) to promote ethical and fair practices in the industry.
