SIU Esports Arena

The Southern Illinois University (SIU) Student Center offers an esports arena where students, staff, faculty, and the public can play video games for a fee. To use an arena PC, patrons must sign up for a free GG Leap account through the Bowling & Billiards desk and create a unique gamer username. Some games require a separate free account login to be played, and patrons can visit the official esports arena desk in the Billiards area to load funds into their account. The esports arena offers a variety of games, including Apex Legends, Call of Duty Warzone, Counter Strike, Dota 2, and Fortnite2. Outside peripherals are only permitted during official esports team gaming competitions and must be pre-approved. The SIU Student Center also offers other activities such as bowling, billiards, and a craft shop.
